The all new season of Mind of Mencia kicks off Sunday night @ 10pm - and to get things kicked off we're previewing a clip from the first show.
The Presidential race for 2008 has begun and its quite possible for the first time ever in American history, we could have a black President. 
Personally, I have no problem voting or a black president and judging by a recent poll, 92% of the population agrees with me. What I don't understand is this other 6%? Why won't they vote for a black President? What are this backward hillbillies so afraid of?

I agree there should be a black president in the U.S.As it is theres way to many white presidents and just maybe this country will be better with a black person for a president.I'm not good in history but I don't remember any Mexican for president of the United States so there should be Mexican for a president too.You know what i think you Carlos should be the next president of the United States of America.

Hey Kim I think ur right because look at all the white men as president we should have at least a couple of black and mexican presidents. Just look at Martin Luther King he changed our society if it wasn't 4 him there would b fighting all day against other rasests. So think about it if i wuz goin 2 choose a president bac around 1930 i would of chosen Martin Luther King and now in 2007-2008 i would choose CARLOS MENCIA. Think about Carlos Mencia as president the USA would actully b funny!

I have watched several episodes of Mind of Mencia, along with some of Mencia's stand up comedy on comedy central. From what I have observed, I discovered what I believe is to be an easy out for Carlos to perform racist jokes in front of a widely diversified audience. By saying it is ok to protect our freedom of speech and expressing "normed stereotypes", Carlos is allowed to perform racist, barbaric, and unintelligent jokes for cheap laughes. These jokes are derived from older stereotypes created centuries ago and although I myself find some of these jokes funny, I think it is a misconception to hold Carlos Mencia in such high regards. His show is mostly funny due to its shock factor and nothing else, and even though some may find his insights enlightening, it is nothing more than an excuse to tell a racist joke. Ironically enough, if everyone does get used to saying what they feel (ie racist comments) his show will lose his shock factor, and therefore, lose its comedic appeal. So for those of you who believe Mencia should be our next president because he seems so insightful and clear-headed, please note that he is a COMEDIAN. (He is still funny though)

My name is miranda i'm fifteen and i'm not the smartest person but it just so happens i love your show. i acually understand most of what you are talking about. people who are so affriad of a black president are so ignorant. i love my grandma (who is from my dad's side of the family) but she is also aginst a black president she still thinks that black people belong on the farm. but on my mom's side of the family my cosin's are half black, and growing up with them my whole life i've never once saw a difference . the way some kids act in the streets is because of the way they are treated at home. kids that have parents who let them do what they want is the result of it all and that's why the 6% won't vote for a black person but what they don't understnd is that not every black person acts the same. I don't know what to say to people who are aginst it but i'm saying what i feel and i feel that people in america need to grow up it's not the 1950's any more blacks do exacully what white people do we go to school we get jobs and most of us go on to making a family i don't see what the big deal is

I have no problem with voting for a black president. If Obama had the same expierence and views as McCain I would vote for him. Dont get me wrong McCain is not the best canidate, I would have voted for Huckabee.
Obama on the other hand has only 3 years expierence as a senator, where he mostly voted present. Rather than put his ass on the line for what he believed in, he answered like a 2nd grader on the first day of school. Thats what America was built on people putting their asses on the line for what they believe in.

America has many different Nationalities in it..so dont say there hasn't been a mexican or black president yet, b/c theres only been one race as president, as well as one sex.
Elect the best qualified no matter what race they are or what kind of ceral they eat every morning, or which one has the best comebacks to idiotic political humor.
