Everybody keeps coming up to me asking, "Carlos, what do you think about the Michael Vick scandal? Don't you think people are out of control?" No. Vick made made this stupid decision, and now he has to pay for it. I like how he tried to deny the allegations. "Yo, man...I had no idea that was going on." Then they were like, "But the dogfighting takes place in your house." I know he has like five homes or something - but still I don't care if you have fifty homes - you know what's going on there. But I don't care about Vick. If he wants to be a Q Dee-Dee-Dee, that's fine by me. I'm not a Falcons fan.
What pissed me off was this speech given by Sen. Robert Byrd to the Senate on the whole the Vick situation. He is so enraged by the treatment of these dogs, that by the end of the speech he breaks down and cries! Dude, I feel bad for the dogs too...but you're in the Senate. Of all the things going wrong in the world...Troops dying in Iraq, violence in the inner city, millions of Americans w/o health care...and you're freaking crying over some wild dogs! You've got to be kidding me. And for all you going, "but Carlos...the he's just sensitive." Really? And when did he learn that sensitivity, when he was a top level recruiting agent for the KKK? Watch the video of his speech and think about all that's going on right now. Then you tell me he doesn't sound ridiculous. Robert Byrd Speech

I haft to agree he realy over does it. I haft to wonder two things though. First is he crying out of pity for the dogs, or because he realised how poor a speach he just made. Second, IS THAT THE FIRST TIME HE READ THE SPEACH, or does he have alsimers?

Are you Kidding Me???? Sen. Byrd is shaking so much he looks like he's gonna set off a false alarm at the earthquake center. I hope his mind isn't working like his body. I was wondering about the crappy legislation coming out of the Senate. Wonder no more!!

Yet you take time to blog about it. I guess it's not the same thing. He is a senator and you're a comedian that steals other people's acts. BTW why did you erase April's post??? Sad..

Carlos, you are a very funny comedian. But I must say that after your "dog" rant, I kinda tried to stop laughing except, you really are funny!, but it really did upset me. I know that alot of things you say are just for humor and I know "if you ain't laughing, you're not living". But sometimes you connect with a certain animal. Dogs have always been there to protect me and they love unconditionally. SO, yea its hard to hear about someone teaching animals to be vicsous and killing them. I must be honest, I could care less about cows, chickens, or a lot of other animals. But I have a real connections with dogs. I love people, I choose them first, and then dogs, however, Michael Vick can rot for all I care.
Violent acts toward animals have long been recognized as indicators of a dangerous psychopathy that does not confine itself to animals. “Anyone who has accustomed himself to regard the life of any living creature as worthless is in danger of arriving also at the idea of worthless human lives,”
Sorry, went far here. Still love you though!!!
