I was watching the democratic debates on MSNBC, and my friend turned to me and said, "Obama is a great candidate. Too bad he's not going to win. He's black.There will never be a black President." Adressing the actual topic of your blog; personally I could not care one way or the other if our new president is male/female, black, purple, blue, white, or brown. All that should matter is how well they would hold office. Obama I am sorry yo say would not do a good job. Look, nobody but card carrying members of the KKK are afraid of there being a black president. So democrats can just stop saying that, cause it aint true. What scares alot of people is that people say he should be president because they are afraid of being called racist if they say "Obama doesnt have the political experience to be president." And they say "its time for a black president" because they think they are being "progressive". If they best man for the job happens to be black, then so be it. But we shouldn't elect a black guy just because hes black.

Being that I’m from Illinois I would like to see Ohbama in that spot. Just think if everyone keeps on their game in Ill we could have the Cubs and Ohbama all the way! If it goes well the bears might even have a chance. But we would settle for a best 2 out of 3.

The first thing is.. is this country ready for a black president? another question.. is this country ready for a female president? Is this country ready for any president who is not bought by or brought by corporate America, I love Obama's innocence, I was in the Army and underage (17) for the 2000 elcetion, but wouldn't have voted Bush; I voted for the other guy in the last election04; and the next one; 08, I am believing that corporate America is going to win and get there President, I am conservative as far as business goes and own businesses, but liberal in the way I conduct my business, Is the country really ready for a president, that is for the people, once recently apart of the people, the political process is complex, and every good business man knows to bring people to work for you that are smarter than you, I believe Obama is a good way to go, depending on the Executives that who chooses to surround himself with, same thing applies to anyone who running, one more thing, i'm rich bitch, dee de dee
