Earlier in the week I wrote about how I detest the attention we've given to "Hannah Montana-gate" about the "questionable" photos of Miley Cyrus in Vanity Fair. I wrote about how there are so many more serious problems in the world that exist and how we shouldn't focus on fluff like Disney-gate. So in an effort to do so, I have decided to talk about the story I read about the arrest of two former managers at Bear Stearns that were charged with "on securities fraud and other charges linked to the collapse of a hedge fund that bet heavily on subprime mortgages before the market collapsed," federal authorities said.
Um, ok, this is definitely not working....in fact I had to copy and paste that quote from the article I read because I couldn't translate it into simpler terms. I have no idea what happened with the Bear Stearns people. In fact, I thought Bear Stearns was an angry forest animal till a minute ago. I've failed miserably...um...let's talk about something more interesting, shall we? Let's go to Stearns to Spears.
UNWED TEENAGE MOTHERS UNITE, you have now been blessed with your leader. Jamie Lynn Spears has given birth to a baby girl y'all! She is now the most famous unwed teen mother of them all! I heard she named her baby "Fried Chicken". Kidding, but isn't that believable?
All kidding aside, we here at Mind of Mencia would like to extend our best wishes to Jamie Lynn and Mr. Jamie Lynn Spears (the 'baby daddy'-what's his face). Congratulations to the baby! You're now the newest "Baby Spears"!

I read the story you linked to- what's not to understand? These two finks at Bear Sterns LIED TO INVESTORS WHEN THEY KNEW THE HOME MORTGAGES they were pushing was already tanking.
Looking a couple of paragraphs down, the author details the charges! Forged documents, for one; lying about income/assets; inflated (home)appraisals; lying about a buyer's intent to occupy a property as a primary residence. Plain enough for me, and I don't work in a bank.
I think you suffer from a short attention span, or don't like "bankyish words."

Teenage mommas - I have no idea what to say about that. If I had a daughter this would be a jumping off point to talk about safe sex and abstinece.
I realize that techniclly she's "acting" on the show and I am going to sound so old fashioned here - but how can she possibly go on playing a sweet, moral and innocent teen on a show on NICKELODIAN.
OMG, I can't believe how that sounds, but I absolutly can not feel any other way about it. Can you picture a day on the set.
Imagine it she's shooting a scene "Oh mom! It was just a kiss on the check. Don't be so lame!" Director "Cut! Great job Jamie" Jamie, "Thank you, do I have enough time to breast feed before the home economics set up?"
Ugh, that totally creeps me out! Judge me as you will, I am what I am.

Okay, so I just read an article on the Time Magazine web site telling the all too true tale of 16 girls UNDER 16 YEARS OLD getting pregnet on purpose so they can all raise their babies together! OMG! I don't think I was too far off base with my previous comment. There is a huge price to pay when you have a baby if you are still a baby. And unless you have that 100,000 dollar a year job (like Jamie), then you will not be able to meet the price.
You these girl's think it's easy because thier parents who "Want to be thier friends" are going to pay for everything and babysit so the girl can still go out an party. What happens in two years when these girls want to do it again so thier babies will "have someone to play with"?
Whatever.

I seriously have to agree with what Carlos has to say about Jamie Lynn Spears. I mean WTF how does she get away with that either her parents are DEE DEE DEES or she fucking bribed them so she wouldn't get a time out. Really she 16 years old and she's pregnant. She even has a show named after her they should call Zoey Is A whore.

Jamie Lynn Spears is 16 and she banged a 19 year old and got fucking pregnant. And after that she does something that is even more retarded she goes and moves in with u guessed it Britney. I wonder if she gave her a haircut? And people feel sorry for her just because she is a whore and got pregnant. So Jamie I hope your baby is fucking retarted.
