For those of you that are unaware, there are so many people involved in making a TV show that go unnoticed. The only people you MIGHT know about are of course the stars of the show, the writers....MAYBE the producers....MAYBE.
There are soooo many other people that work on a show to make it successful. People that you would never think about because their job really isn't noticed when you see the show. You focus on what someone like Mencia is saying, but you don't think about the people holding the camera, directing, dressing, etc etc.
I wanted to show you behind the Mind of Mencia and decided to go to my friend Randy. He's been a friend of Mencia's for many years and is a great photographer. He takes behind-the-scenes pictures of the show and because of this fact, I went to him to get two pictures where I could show what happens behind-the-scenes and the final product.
I picked the rice sketch that was featured on last night's episode. It's two pictures that show just a SMALL SLIVER of the kind of work that it takes to make a show possible. Then I figured I would add a couple of other pictures because I just figured you'd like to see them. Enjoy!

Carlos,
Love your show. I admire you for speaking your mind, and I know you will allow me speak freely. You and I may differ on solutions to the border control situation; I believe that you have to first "plug the leak" by building a triple layer fence with lots of security. We certainly need the guest worker program. There are too many jobs that Anglo-Americans simply won't do, and giving a hummer to a turkey is one of them.

I have to say I am extrodinarily dissapointed this season. You used to be one of my favorite comedians. Through your intelligent humor you made everyone equals. You tore down the misconceptions people had about one another and really inspired a large group of people to cease being so naive and uninformed. I really respected your views on the world and thought you were someone that could be looked up to. The way you condoned the people who worked hard in life and presented a very positive pro-american role model in the original intended meaning of American. But this season you've lost it. I have never seen so much crass, disgusting, vulgar, stupid humor stuffed into a half hour period of time. You have surpassed Larry the cable guy in stupidity and obcenity in your humor. I find it sad that you went from saying that America isn't that bad, and that people who disagree with that fact are "Dee dee dee" To calling Americans a bunch of stupid whiners and saying that we are basically the scourge of the earth. The fact that in a single years time you have gone from being pro-american to behaving as if you are disgusted to live here, ESPECIALLY after recieving a flag flown in Iraq in your honor by our troops, is sad. But in all honesty I could understand that and possibly still find you funny if you were still being intelligent about how you are presenting your jokes. You said something during this episode about being shocked that Mind of Mencia hadn't been pulled off the air. Are you trying to get the show stopped? Is the reason for your crude and obscene shows that you are trying to get the show cancelled? It's come to the point where I've stopped Tivo-ing the show because if i wanted to watch shit i'd change the channel to Discovery and watch Dirty jobs. I'm really sad that you've changed your tune, Carlos.

Love your comedy, love your show, love you!
Some people are just too serious to find the humor you do in so many things. This year you're sharper and a little harsher. Is it because you're disappointed in the candidates?
